On Saturday, December 5, Echo Spirits Distilling officially opened up their bar to the community at 985 W. Sixth Ave. Dubbed “The Bar at Echo Spirits,” the room features the nearby distillery a location to showcase cocktails created with their signature merchandise, which they started marketing earlier this calendar year.
Echo Spirits was conceived by owners Nikhil Sharoff and Joe Bidinger with a unique merchandise aim. The recent lineup includes Rum, Rye Whiskey and Genever — the latter being an older cousin of Gin.
“Genever, I imagine, is by significantly the most complex spirit to make, and, indeed, we knew that acquiring into it, but we nevertheless determined to do it and I never know why other than it is fun,” Bidinger told CU Associate Editor Susan Publish in the course of an interview in November.
The Bar at Echo Spirits functions several COVID safety measures which includes touch-no cost menus and out of doors seating with heat lamps, but for individuals who want to keep even safer, the bar has both equally to-go cocktails as very well as an hooked up retail store for grabbing a bottle to consume in the comfort and protection of your own household.
